Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS convertible is finished in gold with a black power-operated soft top and features a gold vinyl interior. It is powered by a ZZ427 427ci crate V8 rated at 430 horsepower, equipped with an aluminum intake manifold and cylinder heads, an HEI distributor, a four-barrel carburetor, and a serpentine accessory drive system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential with a custom-fabricated driveshaft.
Exterior features include chrome rocker moldings, faux hood vents, dual exhaust outlets, and 15" Rally wheels mounted with 225/70 Firestone Firehawk Pv41 tires. The car rides on coil-spring suspension, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin includes front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in gold vinyl with matching carpets and door panels. Appointments include a center console, Hurst shifter, power windows, AM/FM radio, cabin heater, and a three-spoke steering wheel. Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, tachometer, analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and battery status. The five-digit odometer shows 270 miles since refurbishment.
