Description
This 1969 Chevrolet C10 Custom is a short-bed pickup refurbished and modified in 2020. It is finished in silver with blue stripes over a Maroon original body and features a cowl induction hood, chrome bumpers, a chrome grille, and an oak wood bed floor with polished runners. The truck rides on 20" US Mags Santa Cruz wheels fitted with Toyo Proxes ST3 tires. Suspension upgrades include CPP rear suspension with tubular trailing arms, CPP quick-ratio power steering, and KYB Gas-A-Just shocks. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin houses TMI bucket seats trimmed in black leather and microsuede with a drop-down center armrest and cupholders, complemented by matching door panels. Additional features include Vintage Air air conditioning, a Kenwood CD stereo with Bluetooth, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and digital gauges. The instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 5,600 miles since completion of the build.
Power comes from a 396ci V8 equipped with Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection, a Comp Cams camshaft, a Weiand intake manifold, and Holley valve covers. Exhaust gases are routed through ceramic-coated headers to a dual exhaust system with an H-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and a 12-bolt rear end with a limited-slip differential.
