Description
This 1967 Ford Mustang fastback has been refurbished and modified in the style of a Shelby GT350. It is finished in red with white stripes and powered by a rebuilt 302ci V8 featuring Dart cylinder heads, a COMP Cams solid-lifter camshaft, tubular headers, a Cobra high-rise intake manifold, and a Paxton supercharger. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKX five-speed manual transmission and a 3.55:1 limited-slip differential.
Exterior features include GT350-style body panels, a hood scoop, rear spoiler, quarter panel and quarter window intakes, Shelby GT350 badging, fog lights, side mirrors, and a dual exhaust system. The 15" 10-spoke Shelby-style alloy wheels are fitted with Goodyear Speedway tires. The car is equipped with power steering, front disc brakes, rear drums, and a covered spare wheel in the trunk.
The interior features front bucket seats and a fold-down rear bench upholstered in black vinyl with matching dashboard top, door panels, and carpets. Bright trim accents the door panels, dashboard, headliner, and door sills. Additional appointments include a Hurst shifter, analog clock, roll bar, three-point inertia-reel front seat belts, electronic cruise control, and an Alpine stereo receiver. The wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and features a Shelby center emblem. Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage.
The five-digit odometer shows under 4,300 miles, representing mileage accumulated since the modifications.
